1/4 - 1/22 Assignment Sheets

 Here are Tyler's latest assignment sheets.

In Bible, we have been working through a children's Bible and working on Ephesians 6:1-3

In language arts, Tyler is currently reading 6 pages a day. For journal, he is emailing me stories each day and is up to a minimum of 60 words per day although he often writes 100 or more. Right now we are working our way up to a minimum of 100 words per day. Once we have that down, we will start editing so he is doing some grammar games to get ready for that. He is on the top row in typing and usually typing at 9-10 wpm. He asked to learn cursive, so we started out with his name, which he is doing very well at. And he is on his 74th spelling word. 

Over Christmas break, he asked to learn Spanish so we have started with Duolingo. It's a free adult learning program. I'm not sure if he will be able to handle it, but so far, he seems to be doing well with it. 

In math, he is starting to learn his multiplication tables and continues doing reviews of addition and subtraction through games and a daily worksheet.

He loves science videos and doing experiments. I don't get everything written down. 

Lately, he's been reading his anger management book to me instead of the other way around. Occasionally, he even wants to do the worksheets by writing instead of orally. 

Overall he is doing well. I figure in the next 12-18 months he will be caught up to the grade level he is supposed to be at. Any questions, let me know.
